Technical assistance of the AER to ACUAMED for the energetic utilization of biomass

The AER and the society ACUAMED (Ministery of Environment) signed an agreement of collaboration for which the AER contributes to the technical assistance in some studies related to the efficient utilization and the management of the residues generated by the green filters used for the water purification that ACUAMED will develop.

The works that AER will do in this agreement are:

• Study of the biomass production in the Albufera green filters of ACUAMED.
• Model of management of the green filters wastes for its utilization in Biomass Installation of Sueca. Measures for its implantation.
• Optimization study of the utilization of the biomass installation with additional wastes from agricultural issues.
• Study of the extension of the biomass installation of Sueca to manage all the wastes generated in la Albufera.
