European Project IEC SME

The IEC-SME Project (Improvement of the Energetic Efficiency of the PYME) is an initiative of the program Intelligent Energy for Europe. The goal of this project is to improve the energy efficiency and promoting the implementation of renewable energies in the small and medium companies of each participant region by means of the creation of a procedure of standard simple, efficient, transnational and sustainable advice.
The sectors which the project is focused are: health and tourism, wood transformations, metal processing, car auxiliary industry and agricultural industry. These activities present a high energetic consumption, for what it is interesting to analyze in which situation the companies are and to establish a culture of efficiency and energy saving in our region.

Project partners

In this Project participate other entities of the Valencian Community as Fundación de la Comunidad Valenciana - Región Europea, Càmara Valencia, the Oficina de Promoción Económica de Moncada PEMSA and the Technological Institute of Word and furniture, AIDIMA.
Other partners of the project come from United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Austria and Hungary.
