European Project MOVIDA

The Movida project(Moving from Domestic to Inspection Advice by service companies) is an initiative of the Intelligent Energy for Europe program. The mission of this project is to improve the energy efficiency of HVAC systems for both the domestic sector to the tertiary sector. This initiative aims to change the mode of carrying out inspections adapting ir to the new European regulations on energy efficiency in buildings, complementing the tasks of operating and maintaining with a study of energy efficiency.

Among the objectives of the project is to train 20 professionals to learn a new methodology to advise on energy efficiency systems for heating and air conditioning. Then the installers, once formed, will carry out 650 inspections in the municipalities of Ribera, focusing their activity on residential and office buildings. Users of the facilities will benefit as well from a technical advice on improving energy efficiency and reduce consumption of air conditioning systems.
