Energy Route

The Agency propose guided tours for renewable energy, energy efficiency installations and plants related to environmental issues.

RES Space (Sueca). Route through different renewable energy sources, visiting solar photovoltaic and thermal installations and an eolic generator.
Photovoltaic plant with trackers (Montserrat). 100 kW photovoltaic optimizing the performance of solar installation with following the path of the sun.
Photovoltaic plant in a municipal building (Albalat de la Ribera). Solar installation connected to the network located on the roof of a building.
Trigeneration system in a citrus company (l’Alcúdia). Natural gas supplies electricity, heat and cold for the plant needs in a very efficient system.
Solar thermal installation in a swimming pool (l’Alcúdia). Getting thermal energy with solar panels to meet the needs of hot water for the swimming pool, showers and heating system
Biomass boiler in a swimming pool (Alberic). Using biomass as a wood pellet in a boiler to heat the water for the swimming pool, showers and heating system.
Plant selection of lightweight packaging (Alzira). This plant is receiving light packaging waste (yellow container) and is classified and compacted for further recycling.
Waste water treatment station (Carcaixent). Use of mud from the waste water treatment to generate biogas and produce electricity.
Hydraulic reservoir. Storage of water for irrigation and supply of towns and cities, for containment of floods and to produce electricity.
